Steven Died in Spalding Regional Hospital of a sudden illness at the young age of 33

Born: in Charlotte, North Carolina

Died: in Griffin, Georgia

He is buried at AltaVista Cemetery in Gainesville, Georgia

Near his Grandmother Julia Mae

He is survived by WIFE: Shannon Dunlap Buffington

Although I did not know Steven well, his Dad and I were close in our early years and his Grandmother, <my Great Aunt Julia Mae Stargel Buffington Conner> was a great inspiration and contributer to the Family sources that I have. At the  time she died she was the oldest Stargel in our Line and a great source of Family info and pictures. And I will never forget the AWESOME
